Health Insurance contributions for glasses and contact lenses
Children (up to age 18) who require visual aids, receive an annual benefit of 180 Swiss Francs for glasses or contact lenses from their basic health insurance. Please provide a current prescription from your ophthalmologist when you pay. In the event of additional medical requirements your basic health insurance may pay a higher contribution towards glasses and contact lenses.
